Location

In 2005, The Jazz Factory made its move to its new purpose-built studios in Lindfield. Housing two new studios, with mirrors, barres and professional tarkett flooring, it’s a wonderful move about which we’re all very excited.

  • The Lindfield Masonic Hall is also home to the prestigious Ecole Ballet Studios.

Uniform

General jazz (kindi jazz to level 5)

  • Added options – Jazz Factory tank top worn over the leotard, iris crop top, black pants with iris stripe from North Shore Ballet Centre

General jazz (level 6 to advanced upper level)

  • All black, form fitting dance attire Black split sole jazz shoes, not boots. Iris is optional

Pre-senior, senior 1, 2 and 3

  • Form fitting dance attire
  • Black split sole jazz shoes, not boots

Junior hiphop

  • Baggy tracksuit pants
  • Jazz factory singlet
    • Sneakers

Intermediate and advanced hiphop

  • Baggy tracksuit pants
  • Top of students own choice
  • Sneakers

Junior classical

  • Jazz factory iris leotard
  • Pink or black ballet tights
  • Split sole canvas ballet shoes

Senior classical

  • Leotard or singlet top (black or iris)
  • Leggings or tights (black or pink)
  • Split sole canvas ballet shoes
  • No skirts or baggy shorts to be worn

Junior and Senior contemporary

  • Iris or black form fitting dance attire
  • No shoes
  • Foot thongs are optional

The Jazz Factory Secondhand Uniform Store

A second-hand uniform store is now in operation for the sale and purchase of second-hand Jazz Factory uniform items. This is run by a team of volunteer Jazz Factory mothers, as follows...

Fees 2008

  • General Jazz Class   $130 per term
  • Kindi Jazz Class (3/4 hour)   $110 per term
  • 2nd Weekly Class (ie. Troupe/Exam class)   $95 per term
  • 3rd Weekly Class   $85 per term
  • 4th and Subsequent Weekly Class   $60 per term

NB: Third child in family $95 for general jazz. Fourth child free.

NB: All prices are inclusive of the 10% GST component.

Terms usually coincide with school terms.

Invoices will be emailled to each student in the first week of classes each term. It is expected that fees be paid as soon as possible thereafter. Receipts will be issued only on request.

The Jazz Factory accepts the following methods of payment:

Personal or business cheques or money orders (made out to ‘The Jazz Factory’)

Internet banking. Bank account details and a special deposit code (necessary to identify your payment) are provided on the invoice.
